Mcm Dark Grey Dresser...

We had this fantastic looking mcm dresser

for sometime in our inventory.

A new client came to us and wanted to know

what I would be painting next in my own design

 to put out for sale.

I told her this one as it had minimal repair to be done

and I was going to do a dark grey with black gloss knobs.

No distress and a clean look.

She said she wanted it for her new child's 

room and that design and color would be perfect.

Here is the before below.

We tightened all the dovetail drawers as they were loose.

Stripped it all. 

Filled in all the cosmetic damage.  She wanted it all smooth.

I primed it all and painted it a dark grey.

She loved it and so do I : )

Lego Table From Cabinet......

A new client came to us referred from a previous client

of ours.  She had this old cabinet she wanted us to 

make it into a lego table.

Here is the before below.

We repaired everything she wanted us to repair

and then she wanted it painted all white 

before we added the lego boards.

We stripped it all after repairing it.

Sealed in the all the holes on the drawers to make 

it into one hole for one knob.  Plus the old lock hole we sealed into also.

Super adorable!  Her daughter loved it!

Italian Mid Century......

Our repeat client that has been coming to us for years

wanted this beautiful baker italian mcm dresser we had.

Here is the before below.

We stripped it down.

John does a fantastic job stripping it down to the bare wood.

I primed it.

She designs her place so beautifully and wanted this

piece in a certain look.

She chose Dorian Grey from sherwin williams

that I color matched with benjamin moore.

Then she wanted it lighten by 70%.

Below is the color painted on it already.

Smooth flat finish.

We had to get new backplates for the hardware as one 

was missing.  We both loved the look of the hardware after.

I painted the hardware a beautiful gold she chose.

Beautiful!

Antique Bookshelf/Dresser......

One of our repeat clients wanted to see if we had

any bookshelves for her sons room.

So I showed her this unique old antique shelf

with drawers that we had.  It just needed two shelves.

The before pictures are below.

The bottom veneer was chipped and the foot was completely 

chipped half off.

She wanted to keep the look of the wood just freshened up

and repaired on the chipped parts.

So we repaired all the cosmetic major parts.

As you can see here John repaired the foot to 

T.

I stained and sealed the whole piece.

Added and painted the new knobs.

John did a excellent job.

We cut some shelves and I custom matched it.

She absolutely loved it!
