Directorie Dresser in Hale Navy....

I love these directorie dressers, they are so beautiful.

The rounded sides that go down to the legs..so beautiful!

This dresser had like three sets of hardware holes.

We sealed in all of them and made new ones too fit

our new modern hardware.

Stripped it down.

Primed it and made new hardware holes.

Painted in Benjamin Moore Hale Navy.

A gorgeous navy with gray undertones.

Have used this color/finish on multiple customer orders.

Added the new modern aged bronze hardware.

Sealed in a sprayed satin sealer.

Love it!

Italian Provincial Dresser Updated in China White....

I got this vintage Italian provincial at a garage sale.

I was on my way to the HEB on a Sunday at 1pm and couldn't

believe it was still there.  

Before below.  It was really beat up.  Like they used this a lot.

Looked like it was passed down from grandmother, to mother, to daughter,

and then granddaughter.

Missing veneer, loose top, missing drawer glides, missing 

trip on legs, and the finish was worn.

We repaired the missing veneer, the top that loose, sealed in the older 

hardware holes, took off the rest of the trim on the legs

that was still intact, removed the plastic fronts on the top 

two drawers, and last stripped down.

I added new modern polished gold handles.

Painted in Benjamin Moore China White which 

is a beautiful off white.

Clean finish too.

Sealed in a satin sealer.

Oh my!!

Mid Century Modern In Off White...

Scored this off the internet at a huge discount.  

Was in horrible condition as you can see in pictures below.

Wow, that top...woof!

Missing veneer.

Repaired and sanded it down.

But that top had deep stains.

They did not come out.

Sealed in all those holes from those knobs it had.

Which by the way were not original.

I primed then painted some of the dresser in an off white 

called Alabaster.

Then stained the sides and parts of the front

trim in dark walnut.

Sealed everything in a semi gloss sprayed finish.

Added new modern hardware in champagne gold.

Love how gorgeous this came out!
