Italian Provincial Dresser Updated in China White....

I got this vintage Italian provincial at a garage sale.

I was on my way to the HEB on a Sunday at 1pm and couldn't

believe it was still there.  

Before below.  It was really beat up.  Like they used this a lot.

Looked like it was passed down from grandmother, to mother, to daughter,

and then granddaughter.

Missing veneer, loose top, missing drawer glides, missing 

trip on legs, and the finish was worn.

We repaired the missing veneer, the top that loose, sealed in the older 

hardware holes, took off the rest of the trim on the legs

that was still intact, removed the plastic fronts on the top 

two drawers, and last stripped down.

I added new modern polished gold handles.

Painted in Benjamin Moore China White which 

is a beautiful off white.

Clean finish too.

Sealed in a satin sealer.

Oh my!!

Antique Desk in Dark Green....

We found this desk at a thrift store already stripped.

It looked like they stripped it and left it unsealed for 

a long time.  The top have veneer lift and it wasn't stripped

completely in edges and in the hard to reach places.

We repaired the lifted veneer and finished stripping it.

Which is the picture below.  I was going to leave it like that 

but it had stains on top that wouldn't come out.

I painted it in black bamboo which is a dark green with 

gray undertones.  A gorgeous color I use a lot.

Distressed edges lightly.

Added new hardware purchased years ago 

at hobby lobby.

Spray sealed in a flat finish. 

I love love love how good this came out!

Updated Dresser in White with Modern Hardware.....

This had missing hardware and was outdated.

We sanded it down, added new hardware, sealed in the shell 

in the middle on the very bottom,

then painted it.

I painted it in benjamin moore alabaster.

Added new modern black hardware.

Removed the top front trim.  

Stained the top in kona.

That top is beautiful!  Sealed the top in a stain spray.

Love the new hardware.

Sealed the body in a wax sealer.

Mid Century Modern In Navy...

Before of this vintage mid century modern dresser

I had up for months as is.  

Hardware was hard to come off.

Painted it in navy and stained the bottom base in 

dark walnut.

Sealed everything in a flat sprayed sealer.

Painted hardware gold.

Love how this came out!
