Shabby White 1960s 70s End tables set....

I love these old 60s 70s end tables.
Put a high base lamp on them and they'll
totally stand out.
I actually have 3 sets of old 60s 70s
lamp sets in my home.  I love them!

Painted them in shabby white distressed look.

I aged the hardware in a gold bronze look.

Super spacious drawers.

If you have a low profile bed these would be
amazing nightstands.

They look so much better than they did in the
before picture.

Antique Chest Of Drawers Painted Shabby White....

Found this old maple dresser and it had some damage.
The bottom where the feet are was coming undone.
We took it apart, reinforced it and now it's real sturdy like new.

The top as with all these maple dressers split
apart on the wood.  So we repaired that and nailed
all of them down after we glued it.
I left the split seams as I wanted it to go with the
shabby look.

Painted it in a white shabby chic look.

Distressed edges.

Kept hardware original I think they are
beautiful as is.

Love it!  Paint makes dull furniture pieces
look so much better.  Brings more life to it.

Bedroom Set Updated In Layered Look....

Client was referred to us by someone who seen our
work online.  These where clients own pieces.
The possibilities are endless in how your
furniture can be updated.  For the past 4 years most of
our client custom painted orders
have been their own pieces that they've had
for years.
Here are the before pictures below.

She wanted a layered look.
I used Annie Sloan chalk paint for this look.

They came out absolutely amazing!
So beautiful!  We also freshen up her antique
iron bed in an all white.  I'll be adding those pictures once I
get a good picture tomorrow before we deliver.

Deep Blue French Dresser...

Found this french chest of drawers in a resale shop.
I was intentionally going to use only the
hardware.  I just couldn't.  So, I updated it.
Here is the before below.
 Needed some drawer repair.
We did that and now it's in fully working order.

I sanded most of it down
and cleaned it up.
I painted it in some new chalk paint
I wanted to try out.
It's Magnolia by Joanna Gaines
in the color silos district.

My verdict on the paint, it's like any other
chalk paint out there.  Only problem is
they mix it before you order it.  So, it took about a week
in a half to get it.  Mind you I live in Humble, TX.
That's 20 mins outside Houston, TX.
It adheres well and distresses good.
I did do 4 coats though.  First coat coverage
was good, but I wanted a more even
coverage.

I added some gray and white stripped
paper to the back.  This piece did have a missing drawer.
Then we added some wood pieces to the sides
and bottom to make a shelf.
I stained and sealed those.

Distressed some areas on edges.  Not too over the top though.

Hardware I cleaned up and kept the white in
the creases of the handles to go with
some of the white from distressing.

To make give it a little more, I added the striped
paper to the inside drawers.

Sealed everything in a flat finish.
It's all smooth and durable.

Love this!
Would look amazing in a childs/tweens room.
