Updated Antique Buffet...

This is a customers piece.  She wanted her antique buffet
painted white.
She also wanted the decor in the middle removed.
John came up with the idea to flip it.

She also wanted repairs on the chipping veneer on each
side of the buffet.

We repaired the sides along with other areas we
seen that needed attention.
Tighten the top of the buffet because it was loose.

Sanded it all down, then primed it.
Painted in Benjamin Moore White.

Polished the tear drop pulls.

Sealed in a semi gloss sealer.

She didn’t want the inside painted.

Looks amazing!

Antique Buffet Redesigned to Modern....

I had this antique french buffet for two years in
my inventory.  It had a hutch that was removable.
I’ll be making that into a stand alone shelf soon.
Before above and below.

Tons of cabinet space!

Removed the green felt boards from drawers on top.

We removed the french hardware.  I wanted this
to be look more modern farmhouse.

Sealed in all the older hardware holes, pinholes,
all the knick and dents we could see.

Stripped the top.

I painted it in lamp black by general finishes milk paint.

Purchased new modern knobs.  These are my absolute
favorite knobs!

Sealed in semi gloss sealer.

Light Gray Buffet....

This buffet had some side damage.

We repaired the damaged side.

Sanded the top down.

Filled in the old hardware damage.

I painted it a light gray in a custom mix
I created.

Sealed everything in a wax finish.

Added new ceramic white pulls.

Distressed edges.

Came out so beautiful.
Would look amazing in a  kitchen
or dining room!
Even a changing table!
