Outdated Vintage Buffet Made Modern...

I had found this vintage buffet a while back.
Was waiting to work on it once I finished all
my customer orders.  Now, that I started limiting customers orders
I can start doing my project pieces.
I love doing my own pieces so much!
This buffet I didn’t like the plastic fronts.
Didn’t like the hardware.
Didn’t like the bottom skirt.

I first removed the skirt trim.  Still didn’t like it.

So I removed the plastic front decor.
Then cut the wood fronts and sides on bottom.

After cutting it, I wanted some added layer
to the bottom.  So we added more wood
trim just to the bottom underneath it.
We added some wood legs to each side.

Filled in all the holes from the plastic decor.
Also filled in the older handle holes.
I purchased new antique bronze modern hardware.

Removed the back because it had a hole in it.
Added a new back.

All prepped and I was loving it!
It was coming out just like I had envisioned.

Primed it gray, then painted it in
Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray.

Added the new modern hardware.

I painted everything, all the inside cabinets areas.

Love it!  So happy with the look!!

Mid Century Modern Restored Highboy Chest Dresser...

Before below.  This mid century chest came in
with no legs either.  The dresser is in the previous post.

We had to repair veneer issues on this one too.

I had another set of some mid century modern legs
in my inventory too. So we added them to this chest!

Stripped, repaired and added the legs.
We removed the plastic recessed pulls too.

Stained in dark walnut.

Cleaned up and sealed the plastic recessed pulls.

Sealed everything in a semi gloss sprayed sealer.

Painted the gold tips on these legs gold.
I can't believe those legs I had matched
perfectly!!

That grain is beautiful!!

Available, message if interested.

Mid Century Modern Dresser Restoration ....

Before below.  This mid century dresser came with
no legs.  They where removed.  Then someone added
a wood frame under it to sit on.
We removed that.

We repaired the veneer issues.

The top was really bad.

I had some legs in my inventory.  They didn't fit good.
So we had to remove the screw and put a new one.
That made the legs tight and sturdy.
These legs are high too.  Which was a plus.

Stripped, repaired everything.
Removed the plastic recessed pulls.

Stained in dark walnut.

Sealed everything in semi gloss sprayed sealer.

That grain is beautiful!
The patterns are gorgeous!!!

Painted the metal tips on feet gold.
It really brings out the piece.

Cleaned up the plastic pulls and sealed them too.
