Antique Executive Desk.......

Another one of our wonderful repeat clients came to us
and wanted to know if we had a executive desk.
She sent me style from Restoration Hardware.  I had a beautiful
one I knew she would love.  It needed tons of cosmetic work.
Here it is below.

We repaired all the cosmetic parts, sealed in all dents, scratches,
and pit holes as she wanted a smooth flat finish.

Then sanded it all down.

Sealed in all the holes because, she wanted handles.
She sent me some she was going to order
online, I then showed her some I had that were perfect
for the look she wanted.

I also suggested Restoration Hardware paint and she loved that
idea.  She picked the color Graphite from them.  I ordered
it and when to work on it.  I primed the whole desk of course.
Then, I painted it with the restoration hardware paint.

I cleaned up the hardware.

Look at that awesome job John did.  You can't even see
that it was ever damaged.

Our smooth custom flat finish.

No brush strokes as we spray it with a high volume
low pressure gun and our huge air compressor.

This is the back of the desk we also custom painted.

She loved it!  I do too, way cheaper than the actual
Restoration Hardware desks.  Plus, it's antique and
100% solid wood.
Score!

French Provincial Oversized Nightstands....

One of our many wonderful previous clients asked us to
look for some big nightstands in a french style.
We found these and she loved them.  She wanted them custom
painted all white in a clean look with no distress.
Then hardware left original.
Here is the before below.

We stripped it all down to a smooth finish.

Then primed it all and painted it all white.

She wanted hardware left original.

This is why our wonderful clients keep coming back to us!
Plus, even referring us.  We feel so blessed.
Look at that smooth flat finish.

They came out fantastic!

She loved them!!

Charcoal Gray Aged Dresser.....

I had this piece in my current as is unpainted
inventory for sale.  I pulled it and decided to custom
paint it in my own color and design.
Here is the before below.

We filled in the top four knobs and added some extra
holes on the bottom drawers.  Stripped it all down and filled
in some veneer that had bubbled up.

I wanted to stain the drawers because of the beautiful
wood  on drawers, but once stained it covered it all up.

So, I painted it using general finishes milk paint
in queenstown gray.

Added some duncan phyfe handles.

Then aged it with some van dyke brown glaze.

Sealed the final coat in a satin finish.

Love the small removeable tray too!

I think it came out really nice :)
